It’s January. Holidays are now long over. Tax forms are coming your way from clients. Weather stinks outside for many of us. Bills from Christmas are rolling in.

Actually, January is a great month for planning. Given weather largely keeps us indoors, we tend to be most productive without distractions.

So what can you do this month to create success for the year ahead? Setting goals really works.

1. Learn new technology. (Sorry, dental work is No. 4). Yes, the IT world marches on. You take a breath, you fall behind.
