OB/GYNs made $237,500 last year. Pediatricians earned $187,500. General practicioners and internists received $162,500.
Aside being nosey on much how people earn (an American pastime), the reason we combed through the MedicalEconomics.com survey based on 100,000 MDs and Dos in 16 specialities is to follow the money.
The more they make often correlates to more you make working for them. It’s a trickle down effect. When thinking which fields you should try to increase or create, think OB/GYNs and pediatricians. There’s gold in them thar hills.
